I've experienced two groups of clients and commissions, and enjoy working with both as they impose completely different challenges. One prefers the "you are the artist, I leave it up to you" approach while the other basically hands you exact specifications. This project belongs to the latter.
This client had very specific ideas for her stained glass panel, and was involved in every planning step. The rectangular panel design was adapted from a round stained glass window she liked, featuring seems in different widths. We also met at the supply store to pick out the glass together, as not just colour but also a variety of texture was important to my client.
